Torrox pueblo and Torrox Costa are about 40 minutes drive from the airport of Malaga. Torrox is known for its best climate in Europe with mild summers and mild winters. On the wide boulevard are several “Chiringuito’s” to find, where you can eat delicious fresh fish.
Because of the favourable climate it is ideal to stay in Torrox during the winter, but also during the summers. This makes it very suitable as a second residence, or as a permanent residence. Torrox Costa has several urbanisations that are well maintained and fully equipped. A nice apartment with sea views is very affordable here and the costs for the urbanisations are often low.
Torrox pueblo is also a nice village where you will find several restaurants on the square, with an authentic character. This village has not (yet) been discovered by mass tourism and here you can quietly eat authentic Spanish tapas.
Torrox is centrally located and a good base to visit the most beautiful places in the area. Think especially of Granada with its Alhambra and Sierra Nevada ski area, the white village of Firgiliana, Ronda and much more.
