FINCA CORTESÍN
This is perhaps also the most famous golf club in the region. Finca Cortesín Golf Club has a fantastic location close to the Mediterranean Sea. This gives you beautiful views of the sea but also of the mountains. The course has 18 holes with a length of 6800 metres and more than 100 bunkers.
REAL CLUB VALDERRAMA
This course was built in 1975 and totally renovated in 1981. This course may look familiar from television, as many championships are played here. The most famous being the Ryder Cup in 1997. The course has 18 holes, of which the last holes are known to be very difficult.
This is also by no means the cheapest course, but it is an experience.
LA ZAGALETA HIDDEN TREES COURSE
This 18-hole golf course is beautifully situated in the mountains in the exclusive La Zagaleta. Here, too, you have beautiful views of the mountains and the sea and located about 10 minutes from Marbella. Surrounded by beautiful flora and fauna, this is a wonderful experience!
LA RESERVA CLUB SOTOGRANDE
Located in the upper part of Sotogrande, this club has 18 holes. The round runs alongside lakes and trees through the hills. Again, beautiful views, wide fairways leading into large greens. Again, a course absolutely worth a visit.
VILLA PADIERNA GOLF CLUB
This course offers an oasis of calm, amidst nature and picturesque hills. It also has breathtaking views of the Mediterranean Sea. The club features three 19-hole courses, Flamingos Golf, Alferini Golf and Tramores Golf. After golfing, you can also have a fantastic dinner or lunch here. The green fees here are somewhat cheaper than the other golf courses, mentioned above.
